Eligibility Criteria
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year postgraduate program that provides practical business management knowledge. Although similar to an MBA, with both focusing on management at the postgraduate level, PGDM programs tend to be more industry-focused, while MBA programs are generally more theoretical.
To be eligible for a PGDM course, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline (preferably from a commerce or management background) with a minimum aggregate score of 50% or an equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. Admission to PGDM programs is often based on scores from various management entrance exams such as MAT, CAT, XAT, SNAP, GMAT, NMAT, GRE, etc.
PGDM programs are often pursued more widely than MBAs or other management courses because their syllabus is tailored to current market trends and industry needs.
