  • Sections: The Prelims Exam will consist of three sections:
    • Reasoning

    • There will be a category-wise merit list based on the total marks scored in the Preliminary Exam.
    • No sectional cut-off; however, there will be an overall cut-off.
    • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Eligibility Criteria

For recruitment as Probationary Officers at various branches of the State Bank of India, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by UGC/AICTE.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old. Age relaxation is available as follows:
    • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
    • OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
    • PwBD candidates: Varies by category
    • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
