Distribution of Questions

Eligibility Criteria

NEET MDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

General Guidelines

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, OCIs, or PIOs.
Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree awarded by a recognized university or institute in India, as per the MDS course regulations 2017 issued by the Dental Council of India (DCI) with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
Registration: Candidates must have a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the DCI or State Dental Council (SDC).
Internship: Dental graduates must have completed or are expected to complete a 12-month rotatory internship by March 31, 2024. Candidates undergoing the internship who expect to complete it by this date will be considered eligible for the exam but must provide the internship certificate at the time of counselling to be eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Jammu and Kashmir Aspirants

Candidates who obtained their UG dental degrees from Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats unless they were nominated by the Government of India (GoI) under the central pool quota seats. These candidates must submit a signed affidavit stating their nomination by the GoI, along with the NEET MDS application form 2024, to the specified address.

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals must have a basic dental qualification equivalent to BDS recognized by the Dental Council of India.
They are not required to have temporary registration with DCI at the time of the exam.
Foreign nationals can take the exam without a DCI registration certificate.
A temporary registration certificate from DCI will be issued on the condition that the foreign national is registered as a medical practitioner in their home country.

Disqualification Criteria for NEET MDS 2024

Any candidate found violating the NEET MDS 2024 eligibility conditions set by NBE will be disqualified from taking the exam.
If an ineligible candidate manages to appear for the exam, their candidature will be canceled.
Candidates who do not complete their 12-month rotatory internship by the prescribed date set by NBE will not be eligible for the NEET MDS exam.

How to Fill NEET MDS Application Form 2024

Step 1: NEET MDS 2024 Registration

Candidates must begin by registering for NEET MDS 2024. The registration link was provided on the page. After clicking on the link, candidates needed to fill in the following details:

Name of Candidate: As on a valid government ID proof.
Date of Birth
Gender: Male/Female
Nationality: Indian/Others. If others, enter the Country of Nationality and other nationality details.
Mobile Number
Email Address

Candidates must provide a valid mobile number and email ID as the user ID and password will be sent there. Upon completing the registration process, candidates will receive their user ID and password on their registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 2: Filling the Online NEET MDS Application Form 2024

After registration, candidates will log in using the user ID and password sent by the authorities to the registered email ID and mobile number. Next, they will click on the ‘Go to Application Form’ button to start entering the required details:

Personal Details: Name, category, nationality, mobile number, and email ID will be auto-filled from the registration details. Applicants must enter their father’s and mother’s names, category (General/SC/ST/OBC), person with a disability status (Yes/No), identification details, and communication address.

After uploading the documents successfully, a confirmation message will appear on the screen. Candidates will click on the ‘Accept’ button to proceed to the next page.

Step 3: Selecting NEET MDS Exam Centre 2024

Candidates must select the city where they wish to take the exam. The choice should be based on preference and convenience. Candidates can check the availability of seats in different cities through the provided option.

Note: Final selection of the exam city can only be made after successful payment of the NEET MDS 2024 application fee. The final list of exam cities, along with seat availability, will appear after payment. Candidates must click on the ‘select’ button to confirm the exam center.

Step 4: Payment of NEET MDS 2024 Application Fee
