IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for the IPMAT program are designed to ensure fairness and that all applicants have a foundational level of education and are at a similar stage in their academic journey. By implementing a minimum score requirement, the criteria ensure that candidates have met basic educational standards and demonstrated proficiency in their prior studies. These prerequisites aid in the selection process and maintain the program’s quality and relevance.

IPMAT Indore Eligibility:

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• The candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2000. However, candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible if born on or after August 01, 1995.
• The candidate must have completed Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination in 2018, 2019, or be appearing for it in 2020.
• A minimum score of 60% is required in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent exams for general candidates. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum score requirement is 55%.

Note:

• Applicants who will complete Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination by July 31, 2024, are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the above criteria. Their admission will be provisional if selected.
• When calculating percentages for Standard X and XII, all subjects listed on the mark sheet should be included, regardless of the Board’s subject count regulations.

IPMAT Rohtak Eligibility:

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• For General, OBC, and EWS categories, a minimum of 60% in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent exams is required.
• For SC, ST, and PwD (DAP) categories, a minimum of 55% is required in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent exams.
• Candidates must be 20 years old or younger at the time of application.

Note:

• Candidates who complete Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent course by June 30, 2024, are eligible to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
• Percentages for Standard X and XII will be calculated based on the aggregate marks of the best five subjects listed on the mark sheet/grade sheet, regardless of the Board’s regulations.
